James is a native of Dalton, and has over twenty years of experience working in the construction industry. He started in high school as a laborer for a local home builder, then as a skilled craftsmen in the field while earning his construction management degree from Georgia Southern University. Upon graduation, he spent 15 years at the largest construction company in Tennessee, where he worked his way up from Project Engineer to Senior Vice President. James lives in Whitfield County along with his wife Meredith, son Rhett and Daughter Whitney.
